The Empire State Building

The Empire State Building is an American cultural icon in New York. It’s a 102 story skyscraper and it stood as the world’s tallest building for 40 years! The Empire State Building was designed by William F. Lamb. I know this is kind of sad but over the course of the years, more than 30 people committed suicide on top of the building.

The Eiffel Tower (La Tour Eiffel)

Ok, I am pretty sure everybody knows this one. The Eiffel tower is located in Paris, France. It’s nicknamed the iron lady. The tower was completed in 1889 and it has became both a cultural of France and also one of the most famous structures around the globe today. The tower stands 1050 ft high and was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel. Good job Mr. Eiffel!
